November 2005, after a 12 month trial period, Puncturesafe UK was awarded a sizeable contract to supply our permanent puncture preventative to Royal Mail Group plc. We can now proudly announce that in January 2007 we have been awarded a substantial national contract as the “sole supplier” of puncture preventatives to the whole Royal Mail 32,000 vehicle fleet.

After nearly a year of trialling our product, along with sealants from other companies, Puncturesafe UK was eventually chosen by Royal Mail as the preferred company to supply them with a tyre sealant, because our permanent puncture preventative performed the best for them.

RM Head office have also kindly given us a written testimonial that says Puncturesafe is very beneficial and successful in so far as downtime from tyre related problems has been reduced significantly. They have also stated that the service levels from us have been excellent and very professional.

Although initially, many companies supplied Royal Mail with their tyre sealants in small trial quantities to be thoroughly tested by them, as of January 2007, Puncturesafe UK is, “the sole long term contract supplier of puncture preventatives to Royal Mail throughout the whole of the UK and Northern Ireland”.

Because of our unique and closely guarded manufacturing process, Puncturesafe worked long term and did not have any issues over time, in the very hot and hostile environment inside the tyres of Royal Mail’s high speed vehicle fleet.

Puncturesafes’ ability and performance is not diminished with speed, distance or time

Date: 18th February 2007
Product: Puncturesafe Tyre Sealant
Background
After facing serious down time leading to the loss of production and significant tyre repair bills over the past few years, it was decided that a tyre sealant should be utilised to try and lessen the impact punctures had on the site.
Actions
After seeing different products at shows, on the internet and speaking to different reps, and contacts in the tyre industry it was decided to use Puncturesafe puncture preventative. On the 20th February 2006, the local Puncturesafe operatives came and fitted the product to the following vehicles:
Vehicles                     Tyres Size             Vehicles                Tyres Size
Telehandler                   4 15.5 x 25           CAT 980 shovel          4 29.5 x 25
CAT 966 shovel             4 26.5 x 25           CAT 966 shovel          4 26.5 x 25
CAT 740 dumper           6 29.5 x 25
Results
To date the tyres fitted with Puncturesafe have only incurred one puncture resulting in huge savings in costs and down time compared to previous years. During the current year the machines have worked on our inert landfill areas, which have many pieces of re-bar protruding from tipped concrete. This was not the case in previous years so therefore should have lead to an increase in the amount of punctures sustained rather than a reduction. The cost of the Puncturesafe treatment has been offset in the first year by the savings made on the tyre repairs. Most of the tyres fitted with Puncturesafe are still in use and therefore the savings are on going. I have not tried to work out the down time and quarry productions loss figures, due to punctures, for the previous year compared to this current year, but it can be safely assumed, that there have been significant savings.
Recommendations
I am going to make a recommendation to my Operations Manager that all new tyres and machines employed on the sites he is responsible for should be fitted with Puncturesafe, and to continue with this product, expanding its use throughout the Tarmac organisation. I have no hesitation in recommending Puncturesafe to anyone within the company or other businesses with high losses due to punctures.

Dear Adam,

Since RCS started using Puncturesafe on our Motorway Contracts, Highway Agency Area’s 2, 3 and 4, not only have our costs reduced due to absence of punctures, but our loss of productive hours has improved. The product has more than earned its money and we would recommend it.

The service from your company has been excellent and we look forward to a long business relationship.

Regards
Garry.

World Cup Rally

Dear Sirs,

We recently completed our second World Cup Rally in an old Citroen 2CV this time from Oxford to Athens. We routed across to Austria for hill climbs, Slovenia Croatia and Bosnia for some terrific off road racing on forest tracks. We then entered Albania, which has the roughest tarmac we have ever seen and then through mountain trails and sections of the Acropolis rally route in Greece. We then drove home through Italy and the French Alps to England. A round trip of some 8000 kilometres of which 5000 was under rally conditions.

During this time we started with new standard Firestone 4 ply tyres with the Puncturesafe treatment and never changed one tyre, or suffered any loss of pressure. During last years event we changed 3 tyres and none of them were suitable for future use. This year we have 4 tyres, which can still be used!

We think we were the only car on the Rally that didn’t have to change any tyres! We look forward to using Puncturesafe next year, as it seems to remove another hassle when you are competing against the clock in outlandish places. Well done.

Yours faithfully,

Simon Chance.

Dear Graham,

Sorry to be so long letting you know how we got on in our latest exploit. In January we travelled 8000 kms from Brooklands in Surrey down to Dakar in Senegal, West Africa. Again we had no punctures when all around us others were struggling with punctures caused by the conditions of heat, sharp stones, very prickly bushes and general debris.

That makes a total of over 20,000 kms completed with the help of Puncturesafe on 3 World Cup endurance rallies in our Citroen 2CV across most of North Africa, across Europe to Greece and down to West Africa. All credit to you and your product which makes our life so uncomplicated! Many thanks again.

Yours faithfully,

 Simon & Liz Chance
